Happy Hour– Marketing – Marketing Manager
As you partner with Happy Hour to leverage new business growth opportunities, our emphasis is on accelerating innovation by delivering path breaking solutions or co-creating it with you. With so many rapidly changing technologies to consider and potentially adopt, our approach is to give you access to the many innovations stemming from Happy Hour, our award-winning research and development facility. We make you more competitive by injecting into your business the technology prowess to enter new markets and break into new product categories.
In this role as a Marketing manager, you will be responsible for Research and Analysis, Brand Management, partner to deliver employee brand and experience that amplifies the Happy Hour brand. Measure and report on success, and manage budgets.
You will be responsible to create a vibrant culture and stimulating environment that brings together our ecosystem of employees, customers, academic, government and non-profits around our new Tech Hubs. Drive Happy Hour brand awareness across target states through brand and content programs to external stakeholders. Deploy an integrated client engagement program to position Happy Hour as an innovation partner and support demand for new portfolio offers.

Multiple locations for this position and can be based in Indianapolis IN; Raleigh NC; Hartford CT; Richardson TX or Providence RI
This position may require travel and/ or relocation.
Qualification
Basic
-
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

At least 9 years of relevant work experiences including B2B marketing experiences in the US; preferably in technology or professional services sector.
Role requirements:

Solid understanding of the IT services market, key competitors and influencers
-
Strong events and brand marketing background, able to provide leadership and effective management to agencies and staff

Strong knowledge of various social and digital marketing channels, activities, metrics and measurement techniques
-
High impact communication across multiple formats, including strong written and spoken business English, good understanding of graphic design for print and digital formats, and relevant social media channels and practices
-
Ability to build collaborative partnerships across time zones, geographies and cultures
-
Ability to influence at senior level
-
Experienced and capable people leader, able to develop and nurture marketing talent and build team culture

Ability to travel domestically and occasionally, internationally
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.

What You’ll Do

Manage a pipeline and work with local businesses who can benefit from our advertising services. The market potential is limitless; restaurant, professionals, dentists, coffee shops, floral, contractors, automotive, pet-related, and more

Educate, strategize, and sell successful advertising programs

High volume of face-to-face sales appointments and phone calls

Ability to ask probing questions and overcome customer objections and rejection will be critical to your success

Document all sales touches and details in CRM program(Copper)

Grow monthly sales and new customer goals through a consultative sales approach

Ability to source and self-generate leads

Acquire new clients and grow current clientele

Media/print advertising or B2B sales experience preferred

Bachelor’s degree preferred. GED/HS Diploma minimum and 3+ successful years in a customer facing sales role
